About Throw a Little Tantrum

A safe space for therapeutic writing where your words matter, but don't linger.

Sometimes we need to let it all out. The frustrations, the anger, the overwhelming thoughts that circle in our minds. But we don't always have someone to talk to, or maybe we're not ready to share those raw feelings with another person.

That's where Throw a Little Tantrum comes in. This is your digital safe space—a place where you can type out everything you're feeling for exactly two minutes, knowing that when the timer ends, your words will vanish completely.

There's something powerful about the act of writing, even when no one will read it. The process of translating your thoughts into words, of giving form to your feelings, can be incredibly therapeutic. And knowing that your words will disappear can free you to be completely honest—no filter, no judgment, just pure expression.

Completely Private

Your words are never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. True privacy by design.

Time-Limited

Two minutes is enough time to express yourself, but not so long that you overthink it.

Therapeutic

The act of writing can help process emotions and provide relief, even without an audience.

How It Works

  1. Click "Start Your 2-Minute Session" after giving your consent
  2. Type whatever you're feeling—no judgment, no editing, just raw expression
  3. Watch the timer count down as you write
  4. When it hits 0:00, your text vanishes completely
  5. Take a breath and notice how you feel

You can repeat this process as many times as you need. Some days you might need just one session, other days you might need several. That's perfectly okay.

Why Two Minutes?

Two minutes is long enough to get your thoughts out, but short enough to prevent overthinking. It's about the length of a good, deep breath for your mind. Long enough to matter, short enough to let go.

After your session, you can choose to do another round or try our guided breathing exercise to help center yourself.

A Note on Mental Health

While writing can be therapeutic, this tool is not a replacement for professional mental health care. If you're struggling with persistent feelings of depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns, please consider reaching out to a mental health professional.

This is simply one tool in your toolkit—a small way to process feelings and find a moment of relief in your day.
